Itinerary
Arrival Day (28 September) - Kathmandu
Day 1
(29 September) - Kathmandu sightseeing, bike check and city tour (1300m elevation)
Visit Kathmandu’s rich cultural tapestry of the Durbar Squares, World Heritage sites; Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath Stupa. Afterwards, we will prep your bike and gear for the exciting adventure ahead. A tour briefing and dinner is provided at our hotel.
Day 2
(30 September) - Kathmandu to Pokhara 210kms, asphalt (1300-822m elevation)
Our journey starts from Kathmandu to Pokhara through rolling hills and deep valleys, with beautiful scenery and flowing riding along the way.
We will arrive at Pokhara, the city of lakes and gateway to the Annapurna region. The Annapurna region is a renowned trekking destination in Nepal, famous for its breathtaking mountain scenery. The Annapurna mountain range, which includes several peaks over 7,000 meters (23,000 feet), including the iconic Annapurna I, is the tenth highest mountain in the world. Routes in the Annapurna region offer a variety of experiences, from lush rhododendron forests and terraced fields to high mountain passes and traditional villages.
Check in to your hotel and relax, or explore the city’s attractions, such as the Phewa Lake, the World Peace Pagoda, the Davis Falls, and the Gupteshwor Cave.
Day 3
(1 October) - Pokhara to Lete, 130kms, asphalt and dirt (822-3121m elevation)
We will ride on a paved road from Pokhara to Lete through the Kali Gandaki Valley, the world's deepest gorge. Enjoy the stunning views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, experiencing the breathtaking landscapes and cultures of the region.
After breakfast, the paved road ends and the off-road adventure begins, passing through villages, waterfalls, and suspension bridges.
Day 4 (2 October) - Lete to Kagbeni, 80kms, offroad and trails (3121-3710m elevation)
We will ride from Lete to Kagbeni, a medieval village at the entrance to Upper Mustang. Explore the village’s attractions, such as Kag Chode Thupten Samphel Ling Monastery, Red Gompa, Kali Gandaki River, and the ancient fortresses.
We will ride in the shadow of the mighty Himalayas, as we ride towards the biggest Hindu religious Temple, Muktinath.
Our technical, off-road riding scales up here, as we ride the Lubra Trails, followed by our overnight stay at Kagbeni.
Day 5
(3 October) - Kagbeni to Tatopani, 80kms, offroad (3200–1500m elevation)
You will ride from Jomsom to Marpha, a village known for apples and brandy! You will see the monastery, factory, and museum. Then you will ride to Tatopani, a village with natural hot springs. Relax in the water and stay overnight at Tatopani.
After breakfast, we will ride to Jomsom and Marpha, a charming village famous for apple orchards and fruit products. We will visit the Marpha Monastery, the Apple Brandy Factory, and Thakali Museum.
Following this, we will ride to Dhumba Lake, and Ti Ti Lake. before riding to Tatopani, a hot spring village to relax and soak in the natural, soothing water.
We will enjoy a hearty dinner and overnight stay at Tatopani.
Day 6
(4 October) - Tatopani to Pokhara, 130kms, offroad and asphalt (3135-822m elevation)
We will ride from Tatopani to Pokhara, with free time for a restful afternoon, or for the adrenaline junkies, we have options for activities such as boating, paragliding, zip-lining, or bungee jumping.
Day 7
(5 October) - Pokhara to Kathmandu, 210kms, asphalt (822-1300m elevation)
Ride from Pokhara to Kathmandu, via the highway route.
We will stop for lunch at Mugling and then continue to Kathmandu.
Check in to your hotel and relax, or explore the city.
Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at Kathmandu.
Departure Day
(6 October) - Kathmandu
Say goodbye to Nepal and our fellow riders as you depart from Kathmandu and transfer to the airport.

Accommodation
Riders will have modern hotels in city areas (Kathmandu, Pokhara and Besisahar). The remote, Himalayan areas, offer basic, yet cheerful and clean accommodation with attached bathrooms. Unless otherwise specified, all accommodation is twin share.
Should you wish to upgrade to a single room, a single room supplement package is available on a first-come-first-served basis for an additional $650 AUD. Please contact admin@elsewhereonwheels.com should you wish to book a single room package.
A comprehensive and hearty menu is offered for Riders each day, covering breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Numbers are strictly limited. Book early to avoid disappointment.
