Essential skills and knowledge
Are you prepared to get yourself out of trouble if you have a mechanical issue on the trail? By popular request, we’re running a bush mechanics course in Darwin!
Supervised by a qualified mechanic, we’ll be going through common mechanical issues and teaching vital skills and knowledge needed to deal with trail-side repairs and troubleshooting. We’ll have plenty of tips and tricks for trail preparedness, setting up your tool kit and techniques to get you out of trouble when the inevitable happens!
Time and Place
9 AM Saturday 15 June 2024.
This is a half day course, taking place at a local Darwin (NT) trail. Further detail to be provided in pre course information. Registration is essential.
Your hosts
Roland is a qualified mechanical professional with over 20 years industry experience and is a highly experienced motorcyclist, remote traveler, trainer and tour guide.
Kate is an experienced remote moto traveler, including numerous solo trips through very remote Australia, such as numerous unsupported trips across the Simpson Desert (including a double solo!).
We've gotten ourselves in (and out) of all of the hairy situations so you don't have to! We'd love to share our experience and resourceful ideas to keep you rolling on your adventures!
