Itinerary
Arrival Day (14 September) - Kathmandu
Day 1 (15 September)- Bike set up, test ride and Kathmandu siteseeing.
35 km | 1300m
You will visit some of the famous landmarks of the city, such as Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, and Pashupatinath. You will also check your bike and gear for the upcoming adventure, with support crew on to assist with any necessary tweaks to your rider set up.
Day 2 (16 September)- Kathmandu to Besisahar, 200kms, tarmac and offroad
200 km | 1300m - 760m
You will ride along the Prithvi Highway, enjoying the scenic views of the Trishuli River and green hills. You will reach Besisahar, the starting point of the Annapurna Circuit trek, in the afternoon. We will traverse towards the Lamjung Durbar (Palace) through ancient villages.
Day 3 (17 September)- Besishar to Tachai, 75kms, offroad
50 km | 760m - 2300m
You will leave the paved road and enter the dirt track, following the Marsyangdi River upstream. You will pass through several villages and waterfalls, and enjoy the views of the snow-capped mountains. The road varies from open and flowing to tight and technical. Passing through the various villages, you will have a taste of Nepalese village lifestyle. You will ride through and around deep gorge formations and waterfalls that have carved out trails in the landscape. You will stay overnight in Tachai, a small settlement near Chame (known as the Head Quarter of Manang).
Day 4 (18 September)- Tachai to Manang, 50kms, offroad
55 km | 2300m - 3540m
You will continue riding along the river, crossing several suspension bridges and passing through dense pine forests. You will reach Manang, a large village in the Manang Valley, surrounded by the Annapurna range. You will see various monasteries, gumba and ancient civilizations along way. Desert-like sand trails lead us to the “green lake” and jungle trails. You will have time to explore the village and acclimatise to the altitude!
Day 5 (19 September)- Manang, Khangsar, Nawal, Manang loop, offroad and trails

We will ride from Manang to Khangsar, from here on the Manang district can only be traversed through tight, off-road trails. We will spend time within the village, learning about local culture. You will take a day trip to Khangsar, a traditional village with a Tibetan monastery. You will then ride to Nawal, a viewpoint that offers stunning views of the Annapurna III, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Peak. Yyou will ride single track and other beautiful trails in Nawal through alpine forest. You will return to Manang for the night and have a hearty dinner.
Day 6 (20 September)- Manang to Taal, 100kms, offroad
65 km | 3540m - 1700m
You will descend from Manang, retracing your route along the Marsyangdi River. We will pass through several villages, such as Pisang, Humde, and Jagat, and enjoy the technical landscape. You will reach Taal, a beautiful village at the confluence of two rivers, in the evening. We will stay beside the biggest water fall in Manang area.
Day 7 (21 September)- Taal to Bandipur, 80kms, offroad and tarmac
80 km | 1700m - 1030m
You will leave the Annapurna Circuit and ride towards Bandipur, a charming hilltop town that preserves the culture and architecture of the Newari people. You will pass through Dumre, a busy town on the highway, and ride the ascent to Bandipur, where you will have a panoramic view of the Himalayas and valley below. Bandipur is the oldest trade route between Nepal and India. We will park our bikes to have an ancient city tour in one of the oldest Newari villages.
Day 8 (22 September)- Banidpur to Kathmandu, 180kms, tarmac
180 km | 1030m - 1300m
We will ride from Bandipur to Kathmandu, passing through Kurintar, Mugling, and Malekhu. You will reach Kathmandu in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel. You will have some free time to relax or do some shopping in Kathmandu.
Day 9 (23 September)- Departure day from Kathmandu
You will bid farewell to your guide and transfer to the airport for your flight home. You will take with you the memories of an unforgettable motorcycle adventure in Nepal.
Accommodation
Riders will have hotels with all modern facilities in the city areas (Kathmandu, Pokhara and Besisahar). Accommodation in the remote Himalayan range is basic, yet cheerful and clean, with attached toilets/bathrooms. Unless otherwise specified, all accommodation is twin share.
A an excellent menu is provided for breakfast, lunch and dinner, even throughout our travels in the remote Himalayan range.
